Chapter 5

I looked down my dress, and I read the old Arian Script:

The Dread Prophecy

There are things in this world
That humanity has
Yet to understand, now
Many are writ down here.

The passing of the stars
The wind's voice, so haunting
Why each other hate them
And why they are broken.

In effort to know this
A group was formed to learn
To learn: "what is perfect?"
They made others angered.

The group was exiled
Forced to live alone with
Their ideas and things
They worked alone, waiting.

The old stars, they watched them
Conjuring old curses
They willed others to go
"Follow the one who died."

How we love you, old stars
You never lie, and won't
Betray us as we have
Help us, stars; save us.

We stood alone, against
Those who believed in Hell
They were finding things that
Shouldn't have been looked for

They destroyed us, broke
Our country, killed us all
They aren't gone, never
Will they go? We hope so.

Only one will save us, stars
One that is seven, one
That is white, and is black
Pure, that one is, save us.

The new ones hurt us now
They kill those of the old
Cold rivers, bodies float
Down, killing our children.

They don't die, they come back
No matter if they are cursed
Stabbed, poisoned, cut, or dropped
They just don't die, cursed beasts.

The one to save us is
A beast, a beast in man
A man with godly strength
Dominion of gold.

Find him; we must hurry
He is alone, with one
That one is dead, paling
It must be a woman.

She is sad; she follows
Saying nothing, silent
Except to the star's god
She is his only friend.

If the God is not found,
We die, and then all else
Dies alongside us, dead
Hurry, find him, we beg.
